Thanksgiving

Back when I was in college, it was always tradition for us to spend Thanksgiving with the Kennedy side of the family. This included my dad, step-mom, brother, stepbrother, three half-sisters and all of their spouses and children. This tradition has not happened for quite a while due to limitations on my dad being able to travel, nieces and nephews growing up and moving away, and other circumstances. This year I was thrilled when I got the news that my brother would be coming out from California, and we would be reuniting with most of the family over the holiday. We were sad that my dad and step-mom were unable to travel out, but at least we had the opportunity to utilize the wonderful technology, known as Skype, and see their faces all the way in Washington. It was really nice to gather with family again.
