One day I was looking through Craigslist, and came across an add searching for someone to do a wooden boat restoration. Knowing that Steve loves wooden boats, nearly as much as airplanes, I handed him the add and told him to go get the job. Steve went and interviewed, and out of 65 applicants he was chosen. Steve's designated work space is on a beautiful piece of land not far from our home. Steve has been working long hours, and we are not sure how long the project will last or where it will lead. Despite these facts, we are grateful that he has found a project that he truly loves.

One of Christopher's favorite things to do is help his Dad at work. He was extremely excited when Steve told him they were going to spend the day together to turn the boat upright. Christopher knew this was not just any work day, because the crane would be there. For a ten year old boy, who loves to build, a crane is a BIG deal. I am so proud of Christopher and his hard work.
