My Top Twenty

Have you ever heard of a dream board? The concept is pretty simple - you make a picture collage of things you really want to happen in your life(i.e. if you wanted to purchase a new car you would place a picture of that car on your board). You then place the board in a place where you see it on a daily basis. From continually viewing the board, your brain is triggered to focus on these goals and make them happen for you. I have a few good friends that have utilized dream boards and swear by them. One of my friends placed a picture of boobs on her board, and her cup size advanced three letters in the alphabet since then(she had a boob job that was actually a gift to her). Pretty funny, huh? Since it is a little hard to post a dream board on my blog, I thought I would try a little different concept. I have decide to post the top twenty things I wish to accomplish this year. Some are wishes and some are challenges, but all of them are things I want to say in January, 2010 that I completed. I figure that if I make these priorities public to the world, I will have a much better chance of accomplishing them. Now, let me note, the most important goal I have in my life is to be a fantastic mother and wife, and to teach my children to have a strong sense of self. My faith is also extremely important to me and something I continually strive to better myself in. These are goals I did not place on the list, because I am continually working on them and they are not really measurable. My list will be posted on the right side of my blog page. Each item is numbered, but not necessarily listed by priority. Each time I complete a goal/challenge, I will highlight it. I would like to get all of you bloggers and blurkers involved in my little list. If any of you have a challenge you would like me/my family to accomplish within the next eleven months, post it in comments, or let me know, and I will make a special list. I just request that your ideas be something I can accomplish, that won't compromise my beliefs, and that won't put me at the risk of getting killed(i.e. skydiving). I look forward to your creativity. I am off to start on my top twenty.
